-Successfully reduced the incarceration rate in Newark by analyzing defendants criminal background to recommend alternative sentencing options to judges in Newark Municipal Courthouse.-Participated in briefings with the supervising judge on my analysis of defendants criminal backgrounds.-Conducted in person interviews with defendants on alternative sentencing and available resources such as detox, employment, and housing assistance. This significantly improved the publics confidence in the justice system while also enhancing procedural justice.
