CEA Holdings, Inc. builds and operates innovative, fully-integrated commercial hydroponic indoor farms (greenhouses), growing leafy greens, with the latest technology in the grow house, growing systems, and using alternative energy. CEA Fresh Farm’s closed-loop farming is highly efficient in conserving land, water, and energy, with a small carbon. We use renewable energy to include waste-to-energy to provide up to 70% of our energy needs. Each 20-acre CEA indoor farm grows 33 million heads of lettuce annually, saving up to 620 acres of land for the same yield of field grown lettuce, thus a >95% savings in land use. Additionally, we require only 1.2 gallons of water is needed per head (1 lb.) of romaine, whereas it takes 42 gallons of water per head of field grown romaine lettuce, or up to 97% less water. For a 20-acre CEA indoor farm, we save 2.5 billion gallons each year of water or enough water saving to supply 120,000 USA households annually. Each facility brings fresh, safe, and healthy produce to the marketplace at affordable prices.

GPL systems use a unique, proprietary, shallow-water, rotating, floating-bed technology (Rotating Field System – RFS) to supply the local/regional market in any location, 365 days a year. It is a sustainable and green technology that eliminates the costly and contaminating aspects of field-grown crops (herbicides, pesticides, chemicals, pathogens, dirt and grit, bugs, pollution) and long-haul shipping that increases carbon-miles, product cost, and reduces shelf-life. We provide healthy, tasty, fresh and premium hydroponic leafy greens and herbs to every local marketplace at a price slightly above field-grown, non-organic prices to make our produce available to a wider market for maximum sales. We can control cost per unit through technology.
