To whom it may concern, Christopher Yu has been performing as a summer intern and analyst for Ponto Footwear for the past few months. We did not take lightly the responsibilities entrusted to Christopher, working with sensitive and critical information for Ponto. That said, Christopher has consistently gone above and beyond with his motivation to learn new skills and gather new knowledge, as well as his professionalism and capability to take on new challenges. His duties have been wide ranging, including data aggregation and analysis from a wide variety of e-commerce platforms and technologies. Chris worked with several team members as analytical support for our marketing and finance department as well as synthesized new data with customer interviews and surveys. One of the projects Christopher worked on is organizing and analyzing 18 months of historic sales, email, and website data on behalf of Ponto. He generated and graphically displayed KPIs such as ROAS, CAC, LTV, repeat customer rate, and more. Christopher took it upon himself to reach out to his own network and do his own research to determine the best and most efficient ways to perform this research and the best tools to utilize. He was able to display his learnings and insights into ongoing reporting systems that we use weekly as a company. Beyond his technical skills and capabilities, Christopher was truly a joy to work with and have on our team. His positive attitude and kind demeanor are infectious, and we enjoyed getting to know Christopher better. He brought fresh eyes and a new perspective to the workplace and has been an asset to the team. Having had several summer internships myself that were much more along the lines of filling time with busy work, Christopher has demonstrated meaningful and valuable work to help with Ponto’s progress.
