  The Association for the take-back and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (VERE e.V. registered association) represents the interests of more than 3,900 companies regarding their European compliance obligations and recycling matters in the field of electronic devices. VERE is the largest organization of suppliers, manufacturers and trade associations for the implementation of the WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU) in Germany that regulates the take-back and recycling of e-waste and sets the manufacturers in charge.   The GDM mbH & Co. KG (Association for Service Management) is the actual proxy for the recycling associations ENH and FHE. GDM is also authorized and empowered to do business on behalf of the recycling associations. Thus, GDM is the initiator (foundation, structure and organization) of the VERE Association in 2003. GDM and VERE 2004 jointly founded the take-e-way GmbH to offer appropriate services to all members for WEEE, Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act, Batteries Act, Packaging Ordinance etc. which is today the most succesful business unit of GDM.
