AAB noticed a local business' growing Facebook page and decided to reach out to them to see who was creating their unique content. Fortunately, that person was me, and I was soon contacted by AAB's team. I now have the privilege to create and grow the online presence of AAB. & By doing so, I am able to help push more business to the company!

  Beyond the Behavior is a therapy center for children with autism. Their mission is "to teach the necessary communication, social, play, and life skills... Beyond the Behavior utilizes the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to help children with autism reach their potential." Daily I worked one-on-one with young children with autism. I got my Registered Behavior Technician Certificate, CPR Certificate, & a certification in SAMA (Satori Alterantives to Managing Aggression). But more importantly, I gained patience, insight, compassion, and so much love.

  AlphaBEST Education is an after school program for kids to be able to stay on their school campus until their parents get off work. The program is organized by having one "Site Director" for the campus, along with one "group leader" per every ~15 kids. After school lets out, the kids gather in the cafeteria to start their afternoon with AlphaBEST until they get picked up! Provided is educational games, stemming projects, homework time, gym time, and of course snack time. I was promoted to Site Director within just one month & I grew to really love the kids I worked with for that school year and summer.
