I began working for Trihealth in 2010 in a free-standing emergency room as a Respiratory Therapist. While working in the free-standing emergency room I maintained my respiratory responsibilities for medication delivery, airway maintenance, and ventilatory support both invasive and noninvasive, and EKG's, but along with those responsibilites I was crosstrained to assist with splinting, wound care, IV insertion, and assisting with nursing/physician procedures. In February of 2012 I transferred to Bethesda Butler which Trihealth purchased, and converted from an out-patient surgery center to a full hospital. We are continuing to expand our services and number of beds. In November 2014 I assumed the role of Lead Respiratory Therapist for Bethesda Butler. My role at Bethesda Butler involves covering all respiratory needs for the hospital including airway management, bronchial hygiene, ventilatory support, obtaining blood gases as well as interpreting them for proper treatment, EKG's, while also maintaining the added duties in the emergency room. I have covered many areas for this company. Greene is an amazing DME company to work for. They supply all respiratory needs in the home environment. I have worked as a Respiratory Therapist for this company throughout my entire employment, but I have also worked as the company's marketer, calling on physician's offices and hospitals to grow the business. I have worked as a Compliance Coordinator following patients once they have been set up on home CPAP/BiPap units to ensure that they are meeting insurance requirements and also to follow their care to gurantee that they are using the unit and to assist with any concerns they may have.
