Host, Manager 2016-2017 (Voluntary)
-
Sep 2013 - Jun 2017
Looprevil Radio is LJMU’s student radio station. For the 2014/15 academic year I was appointed assistant station manager and for the 2016/17 academic year I was appointed station manager. In addition to my management role, I host and produce my own weekly 1980s music show. I applied skills that I have learnt on my course to design and produce multimedia graphics for radio shows on the station including logos and promotional material. I maintain the station’s social media and YouTube presence as well as uploading content to the station’s website using Wix. I approached and conducted successful interviews with Mark King of Level 42 and Andy McCluskey of Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark.

During a week’s work, I attended creative meetings and shadowed the UX/UI Design Team and designed a high-fidelity concept of BBC Wimbledon’s Live Coverage presence using Adobe Illustrator. My concept was implemented into a webpage using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.http://csnook94.wixsite.com/cameron-snook-pf/bbc-we During a week’s work, I attended creative meetings and shadowed the UX/UI Design Team and designed a high-fidelity concept of BBC Wimbledon’s Live Coverage presence using Adobe Illustrator.
