As a part of the Network Administration team at the MAGTF Information Technology Support Center (MITSC) my role serves as the Network Administration Lead (NCOIC); -Oversee daily tasking to the Marines and Contractors of Network Administration. -Lead, mentor, train, and ensure the well-being of the Network Administration Marines. -Monitor and maintain network connectivity and provide technical support to ensure a high availability network at over 160 remote sites. -Implement and maintain Network Administration Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). -Supervise execution of orders for Network Administration priorities. -Supervise and execute Network Administration projects, to include but not limited to: new installation, refresh and upgrade of hardware and software. -Ensure permissions are appropriately granted and maintained, processes are adhered to and documentation such as Change Requests and Network Diagrams are properly updated. -Maintain and update trouble tickets reported through the use of Remedy ticketing system. -Participate and provide technical input in the planning, design, and implementation of future network engineering projects to increase end-user support. - Provide input in the creation and submission of documents for procuring fiscal requirements required for networking equipment.
