I had the pleasure of managing Bryan Besnyi for almost two years while I was the Director of Web Services at the San Mateo County Community College District. I recognized Bryan's talents immediately but was apprehensive about stealing him from Skyline College because he was so beloved by all his co-workers and administration. Although they were sad to see him go, they supported this incredible growth opportunity to be part of my "Dream Team" in the Information Technology Services department. Bryan immediately flourished and enhanced the positive energy of the entire office. He was so enthusiastic about every project that he would continue to work evenings and weekends on ways to improve every system and business process. Before long, Bryan was chairing committees, doing presentations and training, running several accessibility initiatives and projects while happily taking on any other project to help back-fill while we were understaffed. Bryan is one of those employees who would be an asset to an organization on any task he's given, and he is willing to spend the time necessary to master any skill he needs to be successful.
