Working with Bryan at Universal Beauty was huge in my growth as a graphic designer. Bryan was always passionate about his work, spoke in great detail about product design, layout and photography, which showed in his own work. Loved how collaborative he was; working on projects together and giving advice for my own projects, as well. He knew of the best resources to rely on, when it came to brainstorming a project and finding inspiration. Bryan’s encouragement helped so much in my development, giving me more confidence than ever in projects for Universal Beauty. He was a true professional, creative in the thought process, great communicator and always wanted to put his best foot forward. My time working with Bryan was insightful, motivating and gratifying.

I worked hand in hand with Bryan to help conceptualize the visions I had for the various brands I oversaw. As a social media coordinator, one aspect of my job was to have Bryan and the Creative team create various static and video graphics for social media. Bryan has ALWAYS gone above and beyond my graphic requests by providing different options and ideas based on my vision. His work is always crisp, fresh, and appealing - all of which is important for marketing on social.

      • Led and collaborated on a dozen UBP Inc. women and men product package design. From idea to shelf, cut to fold, the new and existing primary and secondary packaging SKU’s are still globally distributed through e-commerce, retailer and CPG marketplace • Initiated, organized, and edited the first single page style guide, outlining the brands do’s and don’ts, which expanded across all brands, smoothing out the on-boarding process to build trust and confidence, for future teammates • Organized, archived and maintained internal / external assets for quick access across all departments to cut search time in half • Worked under pressure and stayed true to the team, Beard Guyz Brand Manager needed 60 IFC’s manually assembled, secondary package prototypes to present to Target the following day, not to mention the BGZ family portrait that I shot, edited and placed in its sell sheet. After printing, cutting, scoring, folding and mending they were delivered on time, ultimately landing on the shelf • Worked close with the CD and led creative team on large scope projects while mentoring new creatives with tip and tricks to catch up to speed • Utilized best-in-class software inspired by industry trends like 3D plugin ESKO, Basecamp, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Sony a7 iii • Updated new in-house photo studio and strategy for photo shoots using real props to capture authentic content by pushing innovative industry trends increasing social media supported brands engagement, monthly KPI’s and key metrics • Carried out the setup, lighting, camera rig operation, directing models, with the videographer that supported brand launches, 25th year brand anniversary Campaign and educational content for digital platforms Show less

Collaborated with the Creative team to carry out day to day marketing and print collateral. Specified duties included versioning and designing monthly event posters, flyer's, invitations, offers, signs, banners, window clings, and business cards for all 37 in and out of state clubs. Developed valuable hands on, organizational and an I for detail since 90% of the marketing collateral was done in-house, on a large format printer. Other print pieces were outsourced to vendors where I gained a high level of interpersonal skills while maintaining third party relationships. I wore many hats in the fast paced, deadline driven environment. With the ability to multitask and quickly adapt, I was able to pivot when needed to ensure deadlines were met at the end of the day.
