Brent Mitchell is one of the most genuine guys I know. His company and team he has around him is one of the best I know and have worked with. What ever you need and any time of day the events crew will supply. He even takes the time out of his busy schedule to speak to me and help with my business development. I’m proud to have someone like Brent and his events crew on our side.

We have been working with Brent and his team for a number of years now and I would not do an event without him and Events Crew. The quality of the equipment and his ever expanding fleet is always high quality but it is the efficiency of the deployment which is really impressive. When working in events you need to work with a team that can react to changing situations and needs and Events Crew are always there to fully support the event and integrate with my team. Brent's calm manner and full understanding of an event means that that life as an Event Director is always made easy as you can always rely on Brent and his team to get the job done day or night.

I worked with Brent and his team while I was Operations Director at IRONMAN UK between 2011 and 2015. During this period we worked with some great suppliers but not many delivered with as much excellent performance consistency as Events Crew Ltd. This was highlighted by the fact Brent and his team felt like a part of the core IRONMAN staff team rather than a supplier company. The reason for this is they treated our timelines like their own and provided an operational flexibility rarely seen in the market. On top of this the guys were really easy to work with and were ready to help whenever unusual circumstances were thrown at us as organisers. I can highly recommend Brent and Events Crew and will be looking to work with them again in the future.

Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions (BBUS) is a water, wastewater, gas and electricity business turning over £550m p/a in the UK and selected overseas markets. Main Board Director of BBUS - reporting in to the Managing Director. Operations Support in BBUS covered plant, transport, logistics, assurance, environment, sustainability, customer, community, insurance and security services across the whole business including international. I also sat on the Joint Venture Board in Australia. I am very proud of the many improvements that I drove in the business around safety and the environment, de-risking activities and achieving a 30% improvement year-on-year across a number of metrics. I was key figure in the roll-out of BB Zero Harm, driver safety improvements, risk reduction and reporting. I personally addressed over 6000 staff, employees, sub-contractors and suppliers with an ambitious ZERO HARM Roadshow programme in 2009. Various senior positions held in Balfour Beatty Utilities and latterly Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions.

    • Regional Operations Manager - Wessex Rail Maintenance
      • Oct 1999 - Oct 2002

Managing a team of 1500 direct employees and sub-contractors maintaining the rail infrastructure on the Wessex Region. The area stretched from Waterloo to Exeter and down to the south coast. This was a fantastic role and very challenging. A true 24/7 job fully focussed on train path delivery and passenger safety. A fantastic experience at a difficult time for the rail network.
