I represented reputable brands Bacardi and BT Sport in a customer facing role, creating rapport with clients who used the products and services and ensuring they had the necessary support to get the most out of each brand. I managed a team of sales assistants and was responsible for stock taking and the handling of large amounts of cash, as well as creating final sales tallies for the office to process. These shows were incredibly well attended by large numbers of young children and their families and it required particularly good people skills to handle sales efficiently whilst remaining calm under the pressure of very full houses. I worked in a busy London pub, having numerous responsibilities including opening and closing the pub, cashing up and dealing with complaints, managing the team during the shift, maintaining a clean working environment, rotating stock and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Working for the global brand Barclaycard meant I was representing the core values of Barclays. I was taking inbound calls from customers and claims companies regarding various stages of the complaint process on the mis-sale of PPI. Re-sending correspondence and updating in house systems whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service. Working for a huge company like O2 meant I was representing them and had to understand their values whilst maintaining excellent customer service. Duties included maintaining a clean working environment, making sure relevant deals were on display, hitting daily targets, ensuring every customer received the service they required. Working in the hugely customer focused Cineworld, I was responsible for delivering the best possible customer service. My attitude and commitment was often recognised and commended by management and colleagues, which lead to increased responsibility within my role. Duties included maintaining cleanliness throughout, preparing and serving food and drink, selling tickets and services, I would occasionally answer incoming calls and resolve customer queries and complaints. During the Summer of 2011 I was chosen to work at an American Summer camp, Camp Monroe, as the Photography Instructor and Camera Operator. Whilst my time there was incredibly fun and rewarding, I was working long hours in intense heat having to continually motivate myself and work to deadlines. My time at Camp helped to develop my communication and interaction with people from many different backgrounds. Each day I needed lesson plans and activities for the children, when not in lessons I was required to maintain the safety of the children. Show less
