Being given the opportunity to train under a dedicated and experienced supervisor along with supervision from the managing partner has been an amazing experience. The responsibility of running my own files and managing both my time and that of my assistant has been a relatively easy transition from assisting a team myself.Completing the necessary training through the use of appraisals has been challenging but enjoyable. It encourages you to explore deeper into the reasons as to why our legal system functions in such a way and why the rules and regulations are in place today. Show less

    • Litigation Administration Assistant

Assisting Fee Earners on a daily basis is challenging and has enabled me to learn numerous skills and develop existing ones. Time management has been greatly improved with multiple tasks to complete each day, time keeping must be impeccable. Working on a table of six has allowed me to learn much more about the legal world than I knew previous to this opportunity. I have assisted on multiple files relating to personal injuries such as cosmetic injuries, public liability accidents and road traffic accidents. I aim to continue my professional and personal development within this industry. Show less

    • Recreational Facilities
    • Kitchen Assistant
      • Jan 2015 - Jan 2017

I began my career in the hospitality industry at a young age and was often called in by my mother to assist at events, busy dinner services or weddings at various restaurants and hotels around the country. Working at the Healey gave me an opportunity to earn my own money whilst in college giving me a newfound sense of independence. I progressed to a line chef from a kitchen porter within the time I was there and was often called in last minute if necessary. Working in a small team enabled me to develop my communication skills and enabled me to interpret the needs of others before they had vocalised them themselves. Show less
