Beth has done an exceptional job as the Executive Director at JOURNEYS l The Road Home. One of my favorite reoccurring memories at JOURNEYS was saying good morning to Beth and then hearing her crack a joke or saying something else that was funny. Even on the days when I felt that I had so many work responsibilities going on, Beth always seemed available just to talk and to provide encouragement. Through her leadership, I have seen many advancements that JOURNEYS has made and her goals for the agency have always been client focused. In addition, whenever there was a client issue, Beth was immediately able to end the conflict. Furthermore, Beth made my job easier by setting up the ground work on a direct employment partnership with a company that was affiliated with one of the JOURNEYS’ board members. I am also thankful to her for trusting me with the vocational program and letting me know continuously that I was doing a great job. Beth is full of passion and wisdom and I’m glad that I had the honor of working with her. I have learned so much from her.
