Monitoring and control daily broadcast logs. Control timing during television broadcasts and commercials. Adjusting video and audio levels before broadcast of previously recorded television shows. Also switching of live FOX and satellite network programming, sports and live news broadcast. Perform and maintain the use of the Avid Sundance-FastBreak and NVerzion Automation systems. Including ingest encoding of video - audio and performing routine system adjustments and maintenance. Perform technical quality control during ingest. Provide quality control for all physical and electronic media prior to air. To provide tape duplication, feeds record and tape turn-around when necessary. Knowledge of automation systems, video servers, and graphic generators. Captioning encoding, Monitor V-chip for accuracy. Monitor and manage ingest and encoding of studio productions.Including directing live shows. Operating video and audio boards.My duties also include Operations of satellite receiver systems of shows for future broadcast. Which involves setting the satellite dish for correct positions and adjusting video and audio levels analog and digital receivers. I also performed movie editing for segment times and content using DVC Pro editing decks and linear and non-linear editing systems.
