  Re-Covered is a start-up Social Enterprise employing a local unemployed adult and helping build the skill base for a range of unemployed volunteers. Founded using a £10,000 grant from the University of Nottingham Cascade Fund. We also recently received further investment of £15,000 from the Badur Foundation to accelerate our growth and won the $5,000 Ford C3 Sustainable Communities Grant. Re-Covered was one of two businesses presented by Enactus Nottingham when we won the Enactus UK National Competition in April 2016.

  U-Cycle is the University of Nottingham's bike rental scheme. It was previously run by the University and then handed over to myself and one of my small student teams. Using past experience from Enterprise Rent-a-Car I re-branded and restructured the scheme and after delivering a sales workshop to my team with another ex-enterprise employee we managed to generate over £5500 in the first week of operation.
