Leads ITS efforts in technology (hardware and software) procurement and asset management, including new programs as well as the management, enhancement, and optimization of existing programs. Leads collaborations with campus partners to analyze needs, investigate options, and weigh technology affordances, goals, and risks. This work directly informs decision-making and solutions delivery across a broad project and service portfolio and supports the continuous enhancement of IT services. Leads ITS retail and institutional hardware and software purchasing operations. Leads regular ITS review of contracts with a technology focus and/or data component, connecting ITS colleagues and campus partners. Supervises ITS staff who fulfill retail, purchasing, and financial processing functions. This position also acts as a special assistant to the VP for Information Technology, leading initiatives or special projects related to technology use across campus.
