I had the pleasure of working closely with Avital in Make Shift's development group as we completed Hackney Bridge and revamped Peckham Levels. During both projects she was faced with creating a sense of place with a limited budget, and the results speak for themselves - get down to visit Peckham Levels or Hackney Bridge Kitchens to see what she's accomplished! On both projects she was much more than just an architect. She embedded herself within the sites, forming close working relationships with the operations teams and the food traders within our sites. She also took on a project management role - coordinating directly with contractors and overseeing delivery. She has great potential and is just getting started!

Avital is truly an extraordinarily talented architectural designer. In the 2 years, that I have had the pleasure of working with her, she never ceases to amaze me in the effective, efficient yet creative and dynamic designs she brings to life! Clearly extremely proficient and highly professional in her craft, but also to project manage the whole process, end to end is a skill and experience I rarely come across in other architects or designers. Time and time again she delivers amazing outputs. Avital is incredibly commitment to her work, creative, considered and pragmatic. Utterly unflappable, as experienced in the many challenges we have encountered together, as a team and as an organisation. Her patience, sense of direction and vision has provided great clarity and focus for us all. It’s an utter joy to work with Avital. Not only does Avital bring so much to the table, her enthusiasm and positivity is unwavering and contagious.
