The aim of the work is to develop a fully functional, thermoplastic bicycle frame, which is to be manufactured using the Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) process. The starting point is a conventional lightweight bicycle frame for time trial bicycles in carbon fibre reinforced plastic construction. The bicycle frame is to be dimensioned according to the state of the art and designed in such a way that a structural stiffness suitable for the application is achieved. For this purpose, reinforcing elements are to be integrated into the frame geometry in a targeted manner.The following subtasks are to be solved:- Analysis of existing technical drawings and measurement of an existing time trial bike frame to provide a reference structure as well as definition of the interfaces to add-on parts.- Creation of a 3D design of a time trial bike frame with adapted reinforcing elements, taking into account the variable adjustability of the frame geometry, which is suitable for production and load.- Carrying out a structural-mechanical analysis on the basis of specified load cases and taking into account the material parameters provided; if necessary, revising the design to suit the load- Checking the mountability of all add-on parts and carrying out a collision test
