I recently witnessed Ashley in action with student-athletes. Her presentation was engaging and interactive, and her content was practical and immediately actionable. In addition to vouching for her content, I have three takeaways from her session and her journey to get to where she is today: 1. Ashley first contacted me three years ago with an idea…the timing wasn’t right then, but she stuck to her game plan and is now a published Ph.D. graduate set to do big things. She relentlessly pursued a goal as her north star, and her persistence paid off. 2. While in school Ashley intentionally set out to learn from great mentors like Dr. Kristin Neff. Now, it’s Ashley’s turn to carry the torch and pass on her hard-fought knowledge. She found the right people to emulate and leaned into their positive energy. 3. Most presenters/entrepreneurs have some kind of imposter syndrome, and self-admittedly, Ashley was no exception. She found a coach to work through her fears, and now, watching her present, you would never know she at one point struggled too. She practiced facing her fears, and now her mojo exudes confidence – competence breeds confidence. Finally, I heard from multiple student-athletes that out of all the speakers we had come in for student-athlete development programs, she was the best – the most engaging, the most real, and caused the most tangible impact well beyond the hour they spent with her. Ashley is doing life-changing work, and if you are at all curious about her power, give her 5 minutes and you too will be convinced your athletes (and probably you too) need her. Ashley will impress, impact, and inspire your team. I put the AP Guarantee on it.

My daughter, who is 11 years old, has been using the Reset Program for 4 sessions now. When she first started anytime there was a missed basket, turnover, or foul it was instant crying and she would have to be pulled out by the coach. After 4 sessions she has not only learned how to deal with the mistakes and the misses but has also gain the confidence to not be afraid to make mistakes and take more shots. I feel like she has come a long way in a short time but it has been for the better. I have seen her use these fundamentals in other areas of her life. We get some setbacks here and there but Ashley has been great to work with and correspond anytime we have needed help! If you have a child or you are an athlete at any level, weather you are struggling or not, I recommend you get a hold of Ashley to learn how to be better mentally in the game.

Dr. Ashley Kuchar is a phenomenal facilitator, teacher, coach, mentor, and human being. Her work in self-compassion, motivation, resilience, and overall supporting others to feel successful and empowered in their lives is refreshing and needed. Her facilitation style is accessible, encouraging, and clarifying. She has helped both me personally and my students (as an incredible guest lecturer) identify ways we can recover from mistakes and setbacks with greater compassion and courage. Ashley provides practical tools that we can use NOW to create a better relationship with ourselves and our work (whether that be sports, teaching, business, or anything that requires us to try, fail, try again, and fail better). I am grateful for the wisdom and perspective she offers to help us learn, grow with humility, and flourish for the benefit of everyone!
