The Australian Short Story Festival is an annual festival celebrating short stories in written and spoken forms. Founded by Anna Solding (MidnightSun Publishing) and Caroline Wood (Margaret River Press), the Festival brings short story writers, storytellers, publishers, editors of literary magazines, and audiences together in a different Australian city each year. Responsibilities: • Developing ideas and content for the website in the lead up to the Festival; updating andscheduling posts using Wordpress• Commencing a short and long form interview series featuring writers, authors, and committee members of the Festival• Working with the social media department to create and schedule content for social media(Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)• Researching and corresponding with relevant media outlets to promote the Festival• Coordinating all artist liaison requirements as the Facilitator and Artist Session Manager during the Australian Short Story Festival weekend

Colosoul Group Inc. is a not-for-profit media and arts organisation with an emphasis on supporting youths. Colosoul collaborates with creatives across Australia and internationally to produce a diverse range of publications, events, design and film projects which are created by and for our youth.Responsibilities: • Producing ideas and creating content for the music department of Colosoul Magazine• Managing a small group of writers and proposing, delegating and editing articles that focused on the local music scene• Corresponding with musicians and publicists to organise features and live music events; established an ongoing video interview series featuring local musicians• Creating, scheduling and managing social media content across Facebook and Instagram

Avenoir is a Perth-based magazine that challenge the cultural norms of society whilst embracing the creative art form.Responsibilities: • Working closely with the co-editor to develop ideas and content, and manage a small group of writers; editing and proofreading articles before scheduling them for publication through Wordpress• Promoting weekly and monthly events around Perth in collaboration with the hipflask app• Creating, managing and scheduling related content for all of Avenoir’s social media platforms• Attending and reviewing events year round including festivals such as Fringe World • Liaising with and interviewing local creatives
