Accomplishments: • Develop and lead onsite and Webinar item writer training workshops. • Conduct live and online mentoring in psychometrically sound item writing. • Created ANCC Measurement Services Editorial Style Guide, to institute consistent quality across all MS product lines; ISO 9001 auditors identified product as Best Practice. • Initiated feedback loop to flag high-performing and low-performing item writers for future use. • Purged 10-year-old, shared network drive to facilitate transition to Web-based knowledge management system. • (2014-2016): Initiated and implemented approx. one dozen exam development-related process improvements; formalized into ISO work instructions. • (Ongoing): Vet, edit, and log into item banking platform all new exam items, before/by submission deadline, on 100% of exams.
