  Worked at USA W.P. Productions Inc. Shanghai office( WP short for famous Oscar dinner chef Mr. Wolfgang Puck） as a merchandiser, responsibilities for sourcing as below: 1） Products sourcing by attending Canton fair & Chicago Fair, products including stainless Steel/coating cookware, cutlery, cream whipper, apple peeler, cutting board, french press, pepper mill etc. 2) Product development: Work closely with factories to develop the products per our main US office director and buyer's requirement( HSN, BJ, TJX, Sam's, TSC, Ross, Burlington etc). 3) Price, payment term, delivery time, products specifications and product quality negotiation and confirmation; 4) Responsible for all order's whole rotation and timeline, avoid order issues, like pre-production samples checking, PO and destination breakdown issued and SC contersigned to our US office, shipping markings, shipment instructions, U&C artwork provided to factory ontime/confirmation to factory, colorbox diecut/artwork provided to factory and confirmation on time, QA samples sent to HSN buyer on time no later than 21 days before delivery date, and communicate with factories to correct issues found from QA samples if have, to solve problems. 5, Coordinate with factories' delivery and shipment, including submitting UL onsite inspection application, and releasing LOA to factories on time to make sure to catch the intended vessel arrangements, submitting full set of shipping documents to our assigned HK Wellsfargo bank, submitting pending payment list to US accounting department, trakcing payment for suppliers ( review LC if any discrepancy dispute between our bank and suppliers) solutions are more than problems, follow up shipment to keep the whole order shipped as the date signed on SC/PO and qualified products.
