The Board's diverse experience spans Prevention and Public Health strategies, Nutrition, Cardiovascular Diseases, Nanotechnology, and Investigator-Initiated Clinical Studies, Regulators, Patient organizations, and additional associations. Learn more about each esteemed member. 📊 What is ERA4Health? The ERA4Health is a 7-year partnership co-funded under the #HorizonEurope Program. ERA4Health aims to improve public health by providing sustainable models of funding for high-impact translational research in Europe. With 33 partners and 27 funding organizations from 22 countries, the initiative focuses on elevating patient care, fortifying public health systems, and pioneering preventative strategies. Recently, ERA4Health launched a call on diet and physical activity (#HealthEquity) and a call on cardiovascular diseases (#CARDINNOV). A call on #Nanomedicine is about to be launched! 🛠️ My Role and Objectives As Chair of the StAB, I intend to leverage my experience and network at the European Technology Platform on Nanomedicine (ETPN) to foster interdisciplinary collaborations, accelerate translational research, secure impactful R&D funding, and enhance stakeholder engagement for ERA4Health.   The European Technology Platform for Nanomedicine (ETPN Association), an initiative led by industry and set up together with the European Commission is addressing the application of nanotechnology to achieve breakthroughs in healthcare. Nanomedicine exploits the improved and often novel physical, chemical and biological properties of materials at the nanometer scale. Nanomedicine has the potential to enable early detection and prevention, and to essentially improve diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of diseases. The ETPN Association supports its members in coordinating their joint research efforts and improving communication amongst the members as well as towards the European Commission and the European Member States.   NOBEL (www.nobel-project.eu) is a collaborative project funded by the European Commission under the grant agreement #766492 of the Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. From precision engineering to smart connected HealthTech, and from academic research to the clinic, NOBEL is creating an European HealthTech ecosystem, for the convergence of nanomedicine with photonics, robotics, biomaterials, smart systems, Digital Health and Textile. NOBEL has three main missions (i) ECOSYSTEM: building a unique meeting place for all stakeholders from academia to industry, SMEs, clinicians and policy makers (ii) STRATEGY: shaping a common vision for the future of HealthTech in Europe, the Continuum of Integrated Care, integrating the separate roadmaps of individual technologies, and showing how concretely these medical technologies may improve the whole journey of patients, for a more, preventive, predictive, personalized and sustainable medicine.
