As a firefighter my duties include but are not limited to; responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, taking care of any patient(s) on the call we are on if present, assist the engineer with checking off the equipment and engine, clean the station every shift day, clean the engine as need-be, participate in trainings and EMT classes, assist with daily duties around the station, study for the up-coming First-Class exam, study and learn the different streets in our response area, take classes to further develop my knowledge of the fire service and to help with potential future promotions, etc. Show less
