Responsible for the implementation of agreed upon recommendations and improvements resulting from audit findings.  Ensures that the accounting department is staffed with qualified financial personnel capable of meeting the objectives and responsibilities. Responsible for continued development of these associates.  Oversees and directly manages a staff of over 20 employees including General Accountants, Accounts Payable manager and staff, Accounts Receivable manager and staff.  Leads the completion of Federal and State tax reporting requirements (including property, sales and use, payroll, TC201, RPIE’s and other local taxes) other reports required by government regulation.  Provides assistance to departments in preparing budget/forecast. Collects, analyzes, and consolidates financial information; advises departments on data analytics.  Works with outside tax consultants to resolve tax issues.  Interacts regularly with other departments including Legal, Leasing, Operations, Compliance, Property management and Business Analytics over wide range of issues and inquiries.
