I also regularly communicated with internal external stakeholders either for an initial consultation and/or to continue collaboration on their project. I monitored the effectiveness of the eLearning outcomes and provided analytical reporting to the Training Development Coordinator. Additionally, in this role I was regularly called upon to capture footage of important Local Government presentations and events in addition to writing, filming and editing the Education and Training department's promotional videos. When creating video content, it was my responsibility to ensure the results were of the utmost quality by making sound decisions regarding scripting, lighting, editing, titles, and sourcing and designing graphics. I also modified existing online resources to be more modern and stylish, as well as creating new courses from scratch. Achievements • Successfully designed and developed two large instructional booklets into intricate and interactive online courses complete with voice-overs, basic animated videos, vector images and quizzes. • Created the ‘Public Health Online Short Course’ for EHOs which received over three hundred hits within a fortnight. Initially it was a costly, face-to-face three-day session but subsequently became a popular digital resource with immensely positive feedback.• Directed and edited the ‘Regional Youth Traineeship Program’ promotional video. Traveled to over ten regional destinations with manager of the program to interview council trainees on the benefits of the program. The video assisted in a second round of program funding being approved by the LGA board. Show more Show less

On the independently built Word press blog I regularly published blog-posts and photos about school activities and excursions, recent graduates and their stories, information about the school and study suggestions and tips. I translated brochures and web copy from English into Russian for promotional use and researched potential for promotion to Russian-speakers via Vkontakte, RuNet, Public Affairs Blogs, (of particular interest to this demographic) and Odnoklassniki. I also worked collaboratively on the school's website interface to blend the college’s visual objectives into its online strategy. An an ELS teacher I lead General English classes, planning structured lessons that integrated games and activities; in addition to listening and speaking exercises. I also conducted regular progress tests, edited written tasks to establishing weakness and ensure steady progress. In my time at the English/Japanese college of Adelaide, the relationship between teacher and student was very important, not only from an educational perspective, but also client-service. In a most professional manner, we often provided motivation and guidance to students regarding their education, assimilation in the country and on occasion personal issues. We made the general wellbeing of the students a focus of utmost importance to ensure the likelihood of their return to our support and services. Show more Show less

Instructors were responsible for teaching general English in the morning, leading excursions to New York City during the day and supervising and participating in social and sporting activities in the evening. This position required constant cooperation with participants in the learning program, in addition to other teachers and councillors. Our main goal was to ensure each day’s activities ran according to our tight schedule, with as little disruption as possible. Oftentimes, quick thinking and collaboration were required for the resolution of unexpected complications and setbacks that often arose under such circumstances. Through this experience I learnt the personal rewards that come with cooperating with others, and putting the well being of your co-workers and those under your supervision first.
