      Design and study of vital-signal Doppler Radar, which allows to monitor the vital signals such as heartbeat and respiration of the person under test. I was able to design a six port receiver based on continuous wave radar, to measure the heart beats as well as the respiration rate per minute for real persons under test. The prototype showed really promising results, as they ranged in between the average of a normal healthy persons, Also, the radar was able to detect the vital parameters at four meter distance away from the patients.       Thinning of phased array. A Matlab code had been developed, in order to simulate the radiation pattern of the antenna array, before and after applying thinning. Based on the array factor, the operating frequency, array size, the thinning percentage and thinning type (Stochastic or Deterministic), the the scanned angle and the tapering method used to reduce the side lobe levels, the radiation pattern is being estimated and simulated by showing the directivity, half power beam width and the side lobe levels.
