Bio
Andy Markowitz
I worked with Adam for nearly ten years at Netreo. Adam is a super-dedicated employee and a pleasure to work with. He transitioned into a QA role when it was a discipline that was sorely needed at Netreo and I appreciate his willingness to step up and spearhead the effort. From a product management perspective I think what I appreciated most about his role in QA was that he often stepped out of that typical "QA" box when doing his testing to consider the intangibles of the task at hand. For example, when testing a new feature I'd occasionally get a message saying "the spec calls for X, but I'm testing this and as I look at it I think approach Y might be better to address the end-user's pain-point for these reasons ....". This kind of input is invaluable to (at least a new) PM with a company that always had more a service focus than product focus.

I had the privilege for working with Adam directly for a year at Wonderware, and two years more after that. I really enjoyed working with someone that was both good natured and industrious. He is knowledgeable in the hardware, operating system, and programming domains and has 3 years of software testing experience. He solved a lot of technical problems and expedited a lot of projects while working on my team and I wish I had him back.
