  My father is in ill health and cannot lift over ten pounds due to medical restrictions. I personally attend to the needs of the house and its property, from lawn maintenance to home repair. He often needs assistance with driving or errands, and I ensure that everything in his day-to-day life is taken care of so that his worries are as minimal as humanly possible.   This was a contracted position spanning a semester. It was my pleasure to serve as transcriber to documents spanning two centuries of Union County history and to continue logging relevant data from modern times. I also contributed to a publication about Union County history produced at the time and offered tech support to the staff of the museum when desired. Another part of my duties was to help maintain and rotate exhibits as well as see to the continued maintenance of the establishment. I will always be thankful for the trust that the staff placed in me and the opportunity to be a part of the preservation of our county's heritage. Show less
