Mayya and I have studied accounting information systems during college, and one trait that stood out particularly well was her ability to grasp IS and IT topics really fast. And, If she did not understand it, she isn't shy to ask a bunch of questions until she understood it inside out. Because of the high motivation and the superior interest that she has demonstrated during a few of our AIS courses together, I believe she will do exceptional work in this field. Another skill I want to add in is Mayya's contribution to team work. She is definitely someone I could easily work with. Even after college, she still makes time to reach out to keep in contact. Definitely a team player!

Mayya was my student for several courses while she was a student at San Jose State University. Mayya impressed me from the moment I met her. I could provide the usual praise about ‘foreign’ students studying in the U.S. but this young woman came to U.S. without a support group, mastered the language, went to school and graduated with a very credible GPA (through some significant personal adversity). Therefore, what sets Mayya apart from her peers is her perseverance and her winning attitude about everything she does. She doesn't let any adversities defeat her; she turns them into learning experiences. Mayya in an incredible young woman and would be a credit to any organization that hired her.
