During my professional internship I attended and supported the media launch of the Big Heart Appeal 2017, the National Heart Foundation`s biggest fundraiser. I also worked closely with the Fundraising team on Community fundraising at Run Melbourne Marathon My daily tasks included development/editing of the Victorian media list, use of professional media monitoring services and uploading and editing content on the Heart Foundation website. I also developed a range of internal and external documents (E.g. media briefing documents, e-newsletter, blogs and social media posts) and captured content and issues of relevance to the Heart Foundation.
