Women Initiating New Directions Organization, or WINDO Inc., is a not for profit group whose purpose is to honour, celebrate and advance women's talents, innovations and endeavours across all facets of life. WINDO has been created to organise programs for International Women’s Week with a goal of it becoming a major cultural event. We passionately hold a vision of collaboration across communities to identify the issues and opportunities women face and develop innovative projects, workshops and events in response. As such, WINDO provides a central and inclusive hub to help women connect, collaborate and step forward, achieve common goals, gain funding and find mentors. Within months, WINDO Inc. has grown rapidly to now reach hundreds of women in Noosa Shire & the Sunshine Coast and is now expanding around Australia.
