I would scour the shelves, store after store, to try to find that perfect, simple black handbag I can wear in uniform. Throughout the years, other women in the military have expressed the same problem to me. We all wanted to comply with the regulations, and wished there was a single place with a selection of civilian accessories we could wear or carry in uniform.
