The process begins by removing very thin layers of metals from the surface which eliminates high points that are created by the machining process. Once this is completed the surface will be truly flat and will allow two surfaces to smoothing glide across each other. Preventative Maintenance: We realize the importance of protecting your valuable machine tool investment through regular scheduled preventative maintenance. We recommend this service once every six months as recommended by most manufacturers. Our basic preventative maintenance service takes approximately eight to ten hours to complete. The time frame depends on the size of the machine, the condition and the length of time from the machine's last service
