Overview

Viva Kids Academy is a Reggio Emilia-inspired early learning centre that educates and enriches the minds and lives of our young learners. We embrace the Reggio Emilia philosophy, whose guiding principles encourage self-expression and critical thinking to teach our kids the value of being self-motivated explorers, life-long learners. While Reggio Emilia is a child-led approach, the educator still plays a very significant role. At Viva Kids Academy, our facilitators listen to the children's questions and stories carefully – and observe the children’s use of the hundred languages (drawing, painting, building, movement, music). Then, they can guide and mentor them to explore their interests through classroom activities, long-term projects and collaboration. Viva Kids Academy is in the heart of Yonge-Lawrence Village.
