Overview

Varsity Voices (VV) 2021 is an initiative by students at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Singapore Management University (SMU), through their constituent clubs and societies – NUS Students’ Political Association (NUSPA), NTU Current Affairs Society (NTUCAS) and SMU Apolitical Society (SMU Apol). It is supported by REACH, the Singapore Government’s official feedback channel. VV 2021 builds on an increasing momentum in student political interests following local and transnational political developments. Tapping on strong inter-university collaboration, VV serves to introduce youths to socio-economic issues, promote greater awareness of local political topics and provide networking opportunities between members of the aforementioned political societies. We embrace the power of voices in diversity through varsity exchange. In 2021, VV is proud to reintroduce its flagship event – Varsity Voices Dialogue. Through VV Dialogue, we aim to provide a platform for meaningful political discourse and encourage purposeful exchange of ideas in the pursuit of democratic prosperity.
