Overview

The UOW Banking & Accounting Society (BASOC) was established in March 2016. It began as the UOW Accounting Society (UOW ASOC) before re-branding in early 2018. Whilst we are a young society, we have experienced enormous growth in a short time and expect this to continue into the future. We have 700+ members who primarily study Accounting, Finance, Economics and/or Law. Our aim is to help transform our members into quality graduates. We do this by offering a wide range of professional development events to help them improve their employability, build their professional network and prepare them for the corporate world
