Across the globe, children and families are facing a crisis of unmet health needs: a lack of access to safe surgery. Recognizing this growing threat, United Surgeons for Children (USFC) - part of the French NGO La Chaîne de L’Espoir - has created greater health and opportunity for families in the most neglected pockets of the world since 1994. Our holistic health programs include: - volunteer surgical missions to meet urgent needs - training programs to build local capacities - building and equipping of medical facilities - in-school education programs to promote healthy behaviors
