Overview

Transition Energy is a startup story of two university friends, both chemical engineers, who started brewing biodiesel at the back of an uncle’s garage. In 2016, we designed and built a biodiesel plant in Dandenong South to process 2000L batches of used cooking oil from fish and chip shops into biodiesel for local trucking companies. From painting the floor to welding pipes - blood, sweat and tears literally built this company. We are passionate environmentalists and parents who care deeply about our oceans. We are proud Aussies who know how vulnerable Australia is to climate change. Our mission was to transition Australia towards low carbon fuel. We have since expanded to integrate a focus on providing education services to the broader community. As experts in biofuel, biogas and hydrogen, we are passionate about breaking down the barriers that prevent organisations from becoming carbon neutral. We currently offer online guest lectures, podcasts and corporate training.
