Overview

#ThisIsMe Yorkshire launches on October 23rd 2020 in Leeds and aims to bring together businesses across the region to collectively change the narrative around mental health. Founded in 2016 by the City of London based Lord Mayor’s Appeal, alongside partners like Mind, Barclays and Time to Change, #ThisIsMe is a pioneering and growing nationwide campaign that empowers employers of all shapes and sizes by building understanding and awareness, through the creation of a platform that allows employees to share their stories of mental health, aiding to dispel myths and eradicate stigma in the workplace. 92% of organisations taking part said their employees are more confident talking about mental health as a result of their This is Me campaign. 87% of organisations taking part said This is Me had raised awareness around mental health in their workplace. Close to 800 organisations are already registered for #ThisIsMe – reaching over 900,000 employees across London, the Midlands, the North West and Scotland, and, with your support, we can embed #ThisIsMe into workplaces across Yorkshire to #endthestigma. https://www.thelordmayorsappeal.org/a-healthy-city/this-is-me/
