Telephony Depot was launched in the summer of 2006 as an operating division of iFAX Solutions. To cater to the growing popularity of VoIP and telephony hardware, and the software and services known to interoperate with Asterisk, the Open Source PBX, Telephony Depot was a logical expansion of the enterprise fax solutions provided by iFAX. Telephony Depot is now recognized as a premier retailer in the industry’s online marketplace, providing superior solutions for both business and personal needs, due in part to our pairing with only the finest manufacturers. iFAX has been in business since 2002 and we are, at heart, an Open Source company. Our business model revolves around two Open Source products (Asterisk and HylaFAX), and we have developed an extensive portfolio of hardware, software, service and support around each of them. It all yields clear results: iFAX/TD was honored to be recognized as one of the 500 fastest growing private companies in America by Inc. Magazine and has also recently achieved a spot on the Philadelphia 100 list as one of the fastest growing in the region. In 2014 Telephony Depot achieved Google Trusted Store certification. The Google Trusted Store program is open to those online retailers that have excellent records of customer satisfaction. An additional benefit of the program is that Telephony Depot customers may opt in to $1,000 in purchase protection provided directly by Google.
