Overview
Texas A&M's Design Build Fly Team was established in 2015. TAMU DBF participates in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) DBF competition yearly where teams are given a detailed mission profile with requirements and constraints. Each team composes an initial proposal and the top 110 proposals advance to the next stage where they design and build their aircraft. During this time, students teams also develop their design reports as they prepare for the fly-off in April. TAMU DBF is honored to represent Texas A&M through this national competition.
