Swantantrata as an organisation believes in advancing individual freedom with minimum state intervention. Our values lie in emphasizing freedom of choice of individuals irrespective of culture, religion or gender. We aim to promote just society by maximising political and economic freedom by bridging the gap between policy and action. The main objective of the Swatantrata is to Inspire, Educate, and Connect young leaders interested in Economic Reforms and Good Governance through research and Advocacy. We work with aligned organizations, development, and policy practitioners in advancing the fields such as Agriculture, Livelihoods, Social Entrepreneurship, and Governance. Swatantrata owes its name to Swatantrata and it’s leaders who felt that the welfare can be achieved by giving maximum freedom to individuals with minimum state intervention. Swatantrata and its leaders were the architects of the Liberal Movement in India. It upheld the principles of Individual Liberty, Property Rights, and Limited Government. It claimed that individuals should be free to hold their property and carry their professionals freely and through mutual agreements and the state should encourage them in every possible way the individual in this freedom and not seek to replace him. We as an organization believe that Social and Economic freedom is not just the best policy but crucial for sustainable development for the future
