Student Community Action organises volunteering opportunities for students in and around Cambridge. The aim is to do social good while fostering a closer connection between students in Cambridge and the local community. We run one-on-one volunteering projects, depending on your interests and availability, you’d be paired up with a child, young adult or elderly person with whom you'd spend one or two hours a week, helping them with homework, social skills, languages or just keeping them company. We also run group projects, you might find yourself doing arts and crafts with kids at our Craft Room project, playing an instrument in a singalong at a care home with Betty’s Musical Entertainment Group or helping out with sports and games at a youth club through Bounce!
