Overview

Rosemary Ruthven, Reading and Dyslexia Specialist (AMADA) Senior Trainer and Course Designer, has launched her Structured Literacy ABC training courses, designed to help people provide sound initial literacy instruction for pre-schoolers, systematic ongoing instruction in reading, writing and spelling for primary schoolers, and effective intervention for students with dyslexia. Rosemary said, "It is my heartfelt desire to equip teachers, parents and tutors with practical strategies and useful resources that can make an immediate difference to children’s literacy development. There will be a maximum of 10 participants per course, held at Pearl Beach on the NSW Central Coast. "Each course member will receive a PDF file of the programs and teaching resources I have developed and refined over the past two decades upon completion of each day of coursework." This alone makes an investment in Structured Literacy ABC a valuable experience. Group collaboration and targeted strategies for children in different circumstances will help you identify a clear direction for your child, student or client.
