A minority school, was established in 1973 to provide an all round education to the girls and boys of Patna. The school caters to the educational needs of all sections of society, regardless of caste creed or financial status. The students are prepared for the C.B.S.E. curricular. This institution owes a great deal of gratefulness to the founder & foundress. Late Mr. Anthony John Gilbert son of Late Mrs. Sophia Gilbert and late Mr. John Gilbert. He was born on 24th August 1945 into an Indian Roman Catholic Family in Patna. Having Completed his education at Chuharri Mission and Patna , he entered in St. Xavier’s High School, Gandhi Maidan, Patna and thereafter in St. Michael’s High School, Digha , Patna in the science Department and his wife Mrs. Teresa Gilbert was the earnest inspiration and supporter of him in the tender years of its establishment and growth. She was born on 22nd September 1947 into an Indian Roman Catholic family in Patna. Her parents Late Mrs. Mable Abraham and Mr. Abraham Joseph Thakur guided her to gain teaching as her career. She started teaching in St. Joseph’s Convent High School, Patna. She was involved in teaching for past 38 years at St. Xavier’s High School, Patna. Their Love, effort, dedication, selfless service, care, concern and with a group of competent and well qualified staff has nourished this school and made it stand upright as it is now today.
