Overview

At Sporting Chance Development Foundation our mission is to give every child in South Africa the opportunity to participate in sports, regardless of their background. We provide uniquely tailored sports coaching and health education programmes, with a team of experienced and skilled coaches who foster an environment of encouragement, discipline and accountability. Our impact has been significant, with over 270,000 children across South Africa benefitting from our programmes since 1990. Currently, 34,000 children are involved in our programmes annually, while creating contractual employment for over 1,000 coaches. Our programmes include Disney Healthy Happy Play, Calypso Beach Cricket, Street Netball, Street Soccer, Street Cricket, Table Cricket and regular coaching programmes in under resourced communities. Although we have a strong presence in the Western Cape, our programmes are run nationally, with projects in KwaZulu-Natal, the Eastern Cape, Gauteng, and Limpopo. We have the intellectual and network-building capacity to create programmes all around South Africa. Join us in our mission to empower the youth of South Africa through sport. Connect with us on LinkedIn to stay updated on our latest programmes, achievements, and partnership opportunities. We are always looking to collaborate with like-minded business people and organizations who share our vision for a healthier, active and more inclusive South Africa.
