The Spearfish Area Chamber of Commerce serves its membership as the leading voice of business by providing advocacy, leadership and resources. |Advocacy| Part of the Chamber’s program for advocacy is connecting our members and community with local and regional elected officials and leaders. A few of the events hosted by the Chamber include Mayoral & City Council Candidate Forums, Legislative Cracker Barrels, Legislative Update Luncheons, the State of Community Luncheon, as well as the formation of the new Business Advocacy Committee. |Resources| There are a multitude of resources available to assist with business growth and development. These include professional development seminars and workshops, marketing options through online and print publications, networking opportunities, professional staff that is always on call to support your business, the option to reach new residents and businesses, referrals to your business, and the Chamber website with business listings, job board, events calendar and more. |Leadership| Through programs such as The Hook Young Professionals Mentorship Program and Leadership Spearfish, the Chamber continually strives to develop our current and future leaders for the betterment of our community. Fostering servant leadership is a key component of the Chamber, The Hook YP, and Leadership Spearfish. The High School Career Day gives an opportunity for our local businesses to share their leadership with students as they are narrowing down their future careers.
