Misinformation is undoubtedly a growing concern, which harms communities as a whole. That being said, any efforts to fight it could not be more pertinent. It is our belief that to minimize the spread of misinformation, it is crucial to increase the consumption of information from reputable media rather than from unofficial sources. With this in mind, we envisioned Skribo, an AI-powered tool to be used inside the newsroom, helping news organizations in meeting the expectations of their readers, thus promoting quality journalism, increasing online news consumption from reputable sources, and inherently decreasing the spread of misinformation.
